We also love this app! Super easy way for us to offset our carbon impact through shipping and to provide customers with peace of mind when ordering from all over the country. We've used Planet to send packages over 1,732,585 km, since installation. Very affordable, with a simple setup and flexibility in terms of design and communication. Lack of transparency in pricing – The app charges based on estimated emissions, but the logic is completely unclear. When tracking information is not available (which is always the case at checkout), they multiply the emissions estimate by 3. There is no support or a way to download results. Just a dash board with an image. Even when contacting shopify support they had no idea how to get the data to me. I will be moving to a better hosted site like green spark.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!!!
I use many apps on my shopify store and this one was hands down the WORST! It charged my customers .50 cents over and over again without their consent. One customer said 8 times! Now I have to refund hundreds of these charges, which of course looks suspect making my business appear unreliable.
So if you want to lose customer faith and give yourself a massive headache ...
